Apple Cider Vinegar – In The Kitchen

If you’ve ever tasted Apple Cider Vinegar then you know it has a very strong taste that does not leave your mouth for quite a while.  You can also usually smell it long after it has been sprayed somewhere in your house.  But, doesn’t it make it all worth it when you can clean with something that is also EDIBLE?!  I think so.

To clean counters and whatever else I feel like freshening up, I use a ratio of 3 parts water to 1 part ACV.  To be honest, I made this ratio up, but it works for me.

For things like cooking and making salad dressings, I only use about a teaspoon.  I can’t stand much more of its taste than that.  My husband and I really like to use it when we fry sweet potatoes.  Yummm…..

And all that fresh produce you just picked up at the store?  Give it a quick rinse with some water and ACV!

You can also help get rid of odors in rugs, carpets, and other fabrics by spritzing some ACV on them.
